I came across a singing house wren on the post road in rusagonis near Fredericton today in front of a private residence. I was unable to photograph the bird as he was hard to find in the leaves. The bird eventually flew to the back of the house and I was in a hurry to get to Fredericton, so didn't pursue further. A beautiful song and first for me.

Congratulations on your lifer Andrew.  I do love the little wrens with their tails in the air.   Perhaps he will visit again.  Lois

Congratulations!

He is welcome to come to my place.  I have a wren house out back.

Congratulations, Andrew!

Fantastic!!! Congrats Andrew!

Congrats on the Lifer Andrew! Always fun to add a new one.

WTG Andrew!  Congratulations on the lifer........have yet to see a Wren of any kind.

Congratulations Andrew!

Thanks everyone! Wish I was a little closer, I would like to look for this bird again!  If anyone wants the general location, PM me and I'll give you the exact address where it was singing.  Would be interesting to see if there is a nesting couple in the area.  Probably not but you never know....
