Nice find. I think it has been a few years since the last report of Marbled Godwit on the bayshore. Would the last have been Saint Andrews?

As far as I can remember, Todd, the last Marbled Godwit in our area was the very co-operative one in St. Andrews.

Thanks. If I remember correctly, that one arrived in September.

The Marbled Godwit remains at Marsh Creek today.

Has anyone seen this bird today?

We saw the Marbled Godwit yesterday, August 24, around 2:45 pm. It was foraging along the shore right below the end of Hanover Street, and then roosted on a small "island". We had great looks at this beautiful bird!

Thanks for responding, Pam. Glad you saw it, especially that close. Congratulations on a new NB species!

If it's anything like the one that was in St Andrews, it will stick around for a while.
