Doaktown - the Doaktown sewage lagoon is right behind the Super Valu grocery store, which by the bridge. I don't think it would be easy to walk all around it but with binoculars or a scope you can see many species of waterfowl. I saw Common Goldeneye, Common Mergansers, and Black Ducks there this summer and a bald eagle flying overhead. A section of the NB trail goes right by so you can continue your birding along it.

I walked a good section of the NB Trail near the lagoon last summer and photographed 27 or the 28 species noted. I did quite well near the sewage lagoon. I hope to go back with friends next summer.
