Botany for Birders and Butterfliers

Botany anyone? Feel free to post your images and discussions about Maritime flora here. Knowing more about botany is naturally an asset for any naturalist and will definitely help with both Birding and Butterflying (and more), as well as helping to deepen one's appreciation for our natural surroundings. I am no expert botanist, but I know there are many folks here that will certainly help narrow down some of the IDs and we have contacts that can help solve many floral mysteries...

Joanne, it would appear that way! Again with the caveat, I am no botany expert, but if we vcan all help each other out, that would be great. Jimmy, botany is the study of botanicals ;) Anne, I am virtually certain that Jimmy will find new additions to the NB botanical list before the weekend is out and take amazing pictures of said specimens to boot. Jimmy, I think it is fair we are all getting in way over our heads, but that is half the fun! Bring on the mass floral queries!!!
