Pine Warbler

I put up my feeder again yesterday and this morning looked out and this guy was with the chickadees and nuthatches. Is it a first winter Blue Winged?

Peter, as Andrew suggested suet would no doubt be appreciated along with black oil seed.

He got several black oil sunflower seeds. The brightness of the yellow had me puzzled. He's a beauty.

I think you have a Pine warbler here Peter. Yellow specs around the eye. Two very prominent wing bars, very extensive yellow on the breast and streaking down the side. Did he manage to get a peanut? They will often go for suet this time o year.
