Stu, Germaine was the one who found the bird and took the the photo. We did not realize at first that it was a Loggerhead. Others identified it as a Loggerhead from the photo on Facebook.

It was along highway 114 between Germantown and Riverside-Albert, close to the Harvey area.

WTG, Charles!! To clarify... I assume you saw this in Albert County rather than Charlotte County....there is Harvey Bank and Harvey Parish in Albert County and a Harvey in Charlotte Co.
