"Not a shorebird, but a dovekie ended up in a birders backyard under his display of feeders post storm down the gaspe coast on the 5th of January.  A nice yard bird to add ;)"

Andrew  Thanks for the tip about wild turkeys near where I live in Fredericton Junction. I observed three birds yesterday at 9:30am near tracks at Currie House. These are my first Canadian birds as there are lots in West Virginia.

I love the Common Goldeneye painting! Was this Eel River Bar area? There are always lots of both Goldeneyes near the bridge.
