I was wondering why the male Cardinal was flying back and forth from the feeder to the cedar tree! This is the reason. He is a very attentive daddy!

I saw this little guy on Sunday...The river was pretty high and churned up after the tropical storm. I'm sure it was not easy to find a good meal.

I saw this bird while kayaking on Sunday am after TS Arthur's visit. I have tried to get a pictures in previous years but they usually get away too quickly. This little guy posed for these pictures.

i saw this moth last week. I’ve never seen a moth so big! It must have been 3&1/2 inches in width. Looking for ID and if commonly seen in NB?See More

Moths New to NB

BNB members are finding species that have not previously reported from NB "New NB Species". These species are getting 'lost' amongst the other moth postings in Chris Adam's  "Moths of New Brunswick" Group. This New Group is to keep track of these new species in one easily accessible place.
