It is great to have contact with nature enthusiasts close to home. Our farm has kept us busy for several years now and this year we are "ramping up" production to sell vegetable boxes, so I expect expeditions will be a little fewer than in years past, but I certainly want to keep in touch and every hope we can meet in the field on a number of occasions and will definitely contact you. Also, this summer we are starting a brand new "bio-blitz" program at Kouchibouguac National Park which will take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays, where we will actually looking for folks helping us do some insect citizen science, particularly with regards to butterflies, dragonflies and beetles, which may interest you. Finally, I have not had the privilege to have a guided walk program since I have been back to the park, but this year I will be giving one in French on Thursday afternoons on the Woodpeckers of NB, so that will be great. As for outings around here, let us tentatively say we should plan an outing for mid-May in your area to scout out owls, and you are certainly welcome to come over here pretty much anytime we are home and join us on romps in the backyard looking for birds, frogs, beetles, butterflies, etc and I plan to keep the lines of communication open letting you know when stuff has been spotted in the area, the same as for Gerry Mazerolle, as he is another of our close neighbours! I still hope to be able to join you guys for an outing looking for salamanders, whenever that happens to be...Cheers right back!
As indicated by Denis, it is best to include the date and location where a photo was taken whenever available. Also, do not hesitate to post photos of subjects you are not sure of as perhaps somebody on this site can help.
I also agree with Denis about the quality of your Woodcock picture. Very nice! Is the photo of the Fly Aminita also yours? I like it very much as well.
