Eastern Bluebirds - Update

I reported in mid-June that a pair of Bluebirds took up residence, found a nest box to their liking and commenced house keeping.Happy to report that they fledged at least three young ones.  The family group remains around the property, see them coming and going every day, hawking for bugs and flies from poles, posts and fence rails.See More

Grackle Bath Time

Young birds are everywhere around the property just now. Here is a group of young Common Grackles sharing a bath in a mud puddle on my driveway. And it's not even Saturday night! (lol)
