Frank Delargy said… Yes, It does seem that puffins may be out of reach. The boats will probably not run as I am the only customer so far for the days I am there. I'm still good for sometime Thursday to meet. I'll give you a call. What is your area code?
Thanks!!
Nathan Staples said… Thanks a lot Merv! That means a lot coming from you.
Frank Delargy said… I will be in Sydney N.S. on Wednesday and taking an 11 AM boat trip (Puffins hopefully). I could be in the Moncton / St John area on Thursday. Friday PM I need to be in Portland Maine.
Christine Hayes said… Hello Merv, The ducks are still here, they arrived the first week of April when the Spring freshet was nice and high. If you decide to come next week would probably better as the water should be higher again if we get all the proposed rain. Anyway, they are very twitchy. It does not take much for them to fly. So, like all birders I am sure you have an abundance of patience. Too bad you don't have some kind of a duck blind or something. However, you are more than welcome to come. Yes, we are still feeding them.
