"Andrew, Yes from the foot of Ironman Rd. walk east along the tree line about 100 m and a path cuts left through the woods, maybe 30-40 m. The trail itself is about 1.5 kilometers long, flat of course, good underfoot, doing a figure 8 around two DU…"

"I have added two more images. I am thinking it is a Western Kingbird. The tail length and colour seems right as does the beak size. I the blurry image of it flying away a white strip is visible on the upper outside of its tail."

Miramichi Marsh

The Tree Swallows were there today (April 25) as were 3 Pied-billed Grebes. Have seen so far this spring, Marsh Hawk, pr Wilson Snipes, Kestral as well as the usual C. Geese etc. ... Red-winged Blackbirds there last Friday ... more today ... its not been ice free for long. Water levels very high. Peter
