The 33rd Annual SE Upsalquitch Christmas Bird Count was held on Tuesday, December 16th, 2014.  A total of 11 party hours with 11 species and a total of 138 birds documented.  The species included: 2 Ruffed Grouse, 5 Downy Woodpeckers, 3 Hairy Woodpeckers, 3 Pileated Woodpeckers, 10 Gray Jays, 4 Blue Jays, 6 Ravens, 30 Black-cap…

I'm back!

Hey everyone it has been quite a while since I checked the site out! Hope everyone is enjoying the new year and all the new birds! I moved to St. Andrews for school this year and I'll be starting my 3rd big year. With grad year and all I only recorded a grand total of 63 birds for my 2014 big year, and I'm really hoping to break my record of 79.
