On Wednesday afternoon, pumped up from Sundays Hawk/Sea Duck watch I made it a point to take binoculars on our dog walk. We saw the male Peregrine Falcon and one duck that even with only 8x binoculars I was able to see all the field marks, including the orange bill of a Surf Scoter.
