My first birding trip by Kayak - Saint John River

I took my first birding-specific Kayak trip this morning and felt I had to share.  I haven't done the blog thing before, so thought I would give it a try.

Early mourning hike.

Early mourning hike turned up nothing for the "big year" but some favourites were spotted. Very tame male Pileated and  two Carolina Wren.

New Brunswick shorebird trip

        Hello N.B. Birders,

 

            My wife and I are planning a trip to New Brunswick . I'm hoping to do a lot of shorebird watching . Our plan is to stay for a few days (or more) each at  Sugarloaf P.P. , Kouchibouguac N.P. and Fundy N.P. I've made note of the birding hotspots according to this site that we will be travelling near/by while we follow the coastline and (hopefully)  check out each one.
