The Blind at Bloomfield Ridge -Hampton Nature Club Field Trip

Well Tom ventured out and we went out to the Blind for 3 hrs, it was fun.

I know Tom got some good pics, we had an appearance of the male Northern Cardinal, tons of Evening Grosbeaks, Purple Finches, American Gold Finches, as well as male and females of both Hairy and Downy Woodpeckers, lots of Black Cap Chickadees, Dark Eyed Juncos, American Tree Sparrows, Pine Siskins, Mourning Doves, and European Starlings.

Did I mention the Red Squirrel.......

Most of the photo's are from yesterday, I gave Tom the best seat to shoot from and I just spotted and ID'd the birds for Him, he's a new birder, but it was fun and I'm glad he was able to get out and enjoy it.

Vanessa Roy will be speaking to us for the meeting in April , it will be about Nature NB, hope you can make it out and fellowship with us.
