I'm changing a small green house into a blind, it doesn't make sense to freeze out in the snow banks when it's actually quite warm inside. The north wall is solid wood and I'm going to cut hatches for camera, scope and binoculars. How big would you make the openings?
Now you have me wondering how much the moon effected the tide. Will have to check it out at different moon phases. I am sure you are right that it is contributing to the tidal bore size. Spring run off is another consideration. Next Oct. will be an interesting moon to watch and check the bore. Birding is starting to get exciting once again. Just heard a robin and R.N. Pheasants in the yard.
Gerry, thanks for the welcome. From what I have seen so far while trying to get familiar with navigating around the site, I like everything I've seen and it won't be too long before I feel comfortable enough with it to get a little more involved. Your pictures are superb and one of my first questions likely will be about your camera equipment !! Regards .... Mike
Thanks Gerry...I posted a few photos earilier today. Not all birds but stll nature related, I hope you get a chance to take a look. I am very new to photography and birding but I am enjoying the journey.
Thanks for the welcome. I'm good friends with Dan. We met briefly during the Fundy H20. I hope you will come down over the May Long Weekend for our Birding Festival...soon to have a name. I'll be posting more info soon. I can't wait to look through your photos.
