Two female hairy woodpeckers (named Willow) dancing. Is it usual for females to dance together?

Very Cool Gail, I witnessed a similar act last week between two Downy Females in my lilac with the male looking on.  I had never seen this before either.  You got tremendous video of the display, congratulations!

There has been a male around all winter but he wasn't in sight when I took this video.  Are they challenging each other?
