ODES OF CHARLOTTE COUNTY ~~ June 9th - June 18th, 2018

We traveled to Scott Brook, north of St. Stephen in search of the Broad-tailed Shadowdragons, but they did not show.  However, we did find our first Jewelwings of the season, both got a lifer in the Ocellated Emerald which JD posted, a Stream Cruiser, Rusty Snaketail, and a Moustached Clubtail.  Lots of neat odes out there, and we love hunting and searching for the next big find.…See More

Hi Gail.  I took a drive today down the Detour Road in Pocologan today and saw the nest you referred to.  There was one Osprey in the nest but after a while two more showed up soaring around in the area of the occupied nest.

Thanks for the kind welcome, Gail! I'm looking forward to the birding season this year! I'm very new at it, sort of stumbled on it last year when I got a house in the country, put a feeder out, and suddenly had all kinds of new unknown friends hanging around! Looking forward this year to learning what each of them are :)

Hi Gail I am enjoying BNB it's very helpful and informative. My Fathers name is Robert and my Mother's is Pat. They moved from Hillsborough to Moncton recently but had lived in Riverview in the past. My Grandparent's were John & Tillie Geldart. Does this help?
