"Yes, and perhaps I was too quick to id  Paul and Kitty's as Grackle when the better answer was European Starling."

"You're welcome to come up and try and view it.  It's been in the Ash Tree, the Lilac Bush, and on our clothes line.  The other area I've heard and seen it is in the wooded area down by our pond."

If you are like my wife Kitty, you are happy that summer is fleeing and that Autumn is approaching, but there is a sting with the feel of fall.

Today, I was down to Dutch Point, started off up on a ridge looking out over a stand of Ash, Maple and Spruce, looking through the canopy and at the forest floor I observed White Tail Deer, Red Squirrels, Gray Squirrels and even a little mouse like creature, I could hear Crows, Jays, and Black-Cap Chickadees in the distance but that was…

I haven't seen a Chipping Sparrow yet this year...lots of America Tree though.

I had some Evening Grosbeaks in my yard today for the first time in a couple of years....they must have followed me from your place! lol. But seriously, I believe I've seen more of them in the last 5 months then what I've seen over the past 5 years...maybe they're making a come back or I've just be in the right spot at the right time.
